The town of Mordia was in its happy mood with the beautiful flowers and the kid frolicking in the meadow. Everything was so right and so perfect. It was a great day with the sun shining so bright when a thrash of wind came suddenly in an uproar. Then it stopped quickly as if freezing in its very spot. It was dead silent in the woods outside the city where a cat was prowling. It crept into the town and looking for food. The people of Mordia where still in its happiness when the cat was no longer a cat but a beautiful teenage girl. Her name was Sarah. She walked through the paths of Mordia carefully searching everything in site. She was a faerie with the power to shape shift into any creature, fly, and was telepathic. She was fairly new and she took steps with caution. Around her wrist was a beautiful bracelet made of the finest gems only found by faeries and around her neck was a magnificent locket which kept her under control and clean. She was smiling and looked around at the people. She no longer wanted to live in the woods. She was now to live in the village of Mordia.
Yet somehow something was wrong. Suddenly a roar of pain shot threw her left arm and she sat silently trying to heal it. She didn't know how though and somehow she had to figure out. She looked up into the deep blue sky and got lost in her thoughts. All the memories of her great family where flooding her mind forcing her to cry now that they where gone. Her brother to who was killed by a vampire. Then another sudden breeze came through and she was gone. She had shifted into a bird flying away perching on a tree. She could fly normally two so if anything every happened to her shape shifting power she wouldn't need to worry. Then a piece of bread floated from a villagers table and up to where Sarah was. She shifted back and ripped the bread in two. Then she felt as if her heart ache was just getting worse. Her parents had just died and she was alone with nothing. Only her powers as a faerie. Though she hid her wings so no one could see what she was part of her felt that with them hidden she was being unfaithful to her ancestors.
She then sat perched in the tree and brining more food to herself when she accidentally drew to herself a dagger. Something was engraved in it but she flew down and hid the dagger as she held it closely to her skin. She couldn't let anyone see so she let it go and moved it somewhere safe. Somewhere no one could get to accept herself, since no creature could fit there except bugs and tiny ones. She felt safe suddenly but that was only for now. This was the begging of what she predicted would turn out to be horrible. Maybe if her luck ran right it would not be so bad. But that was all she could hope for since the dark and eeriness of night was shrouding upon her. She tried to keep herself warm as she peered into the sky. The stars in the night where all that made her feel even slightly safe. For now all she could think of was a terror so hurtful that nothing could protect her from it. Not even herself. Sitting worridly she looked over the villagers and shifter into a husky. She then curled up to keep herself warm. Then Sarah began to drift into a light sleep, but any sound could wake her. The night was dark. But some creatures soul out there was darker.
